Jarkay Town

Dear Sir: We the citizens of Jarkay Town Community want to extend our thanks and appreciation to God for providing this opportunity and to the Lifewater Inc Family, and also to our little daughter, our sister from America, for providing a safe drinking water for our community which we have been in need for so many years. We pray that this should be a continued project, not only to our community but to the other communities in and around us. We pray that this opportunity will be used for the eternal purpose. On March 3, 2010, this community was visited to assess the area for a well and to present a Health & Hygiene workshop. 60 participants attended. The village has a growing population of 600 people and were able to rally together to prepare for their new well within the year. The participants of the workshop, in a jubilant mood, sang and danced as the workshop started. At the end of the workshop, Mr. Leon Tolbert, organizer of the workshop thanked L-Linc for the training and challenged the participants to put into action what they have learned. This village has suffered 2 infant deaths as a result of their previous unsafe water supply.
