Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Kpelleh Town Community Q2 in Montserrado County has a well that provides safe water to about 500 people. For two months, children and adults had no access to this water after the well's hand pump stopped working. Everyone had to drink from the nearest rivers and from shallow hand-dug wells. These sources are open to the elements and therefore often contaminated -- putting residents at constant risk of contracting potentially deadly diarrheal diseases.

But through the generous support of our donors, Lifewater has repaired the broken pump and restored the grateful community's well, which is enabling young and old to have a dependable and consistent source of safe water.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
