A message from the community

Troyah Town is thankful for the repair of our hand pump that has restored clean and safe water to our community. We thank Lifewater Canada for the initiative.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Troya Town in Montserrado County has about 250 residents, all of whom depend for their water needs on a local well. When the well's hand pump stopped working, there was no safe water. Everyone had to begin relying on contaminated sources that put them at risk of contracting waterborne illnesses. But only a week later, thanks to the generosity of our donors, Lifewater repaired the pump and restored the flow of safe water to everyone in Troya Town.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
