A message from the community

We write to Lifewater  to show our appreciation for rehabilitating our well. We were drinking from the stream with cattle but today, Lifewater came to rescue us from that and gave us the best assistance ever. Thanks.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

After the hand pump on their community well failed, the long journey to a distant river that were necessary each day to bring water home to their families meant many of the children in Zuru Bubu weren't attending school regularly. And because cattle and other domestic animals drank from and defecated in the river, the water from it was so contaminated that it made many people sick.

Then Lifewater, through the support of our donors, replaced the broken hand pump and restored the flow of safe, easily accessible water in Zuru Bubu.
