A message from the community

We bring you greetings in Jesus' name. On behalf of the Sammy M. Dukuly School and Kelleh Town Community, we wish to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to your organization for providing us with good and safe drinking water. We hope and pray that it will serve the purpose. May God continue to bless your entity as you continue to provide water for other communities.

-- Flomo Tokpah, Kelleh Community chairman

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

This school is in Kelleh Community in Liberia's Montserrado  County. It was founded by Mr. and Mrs. Sammy M. Dukuly in 1990 and has 360 students, teaching staff, and administrative staff.

The school and surrounding community have a water well but the hand pump was broken for a month from over-use. Everyone walked long treks to get dirty water from hand-dug wells, or they bought water in plastic bags from local vendors.

The Lifewater team, thanks to its donors, arrived and repaired the broken hand pump. The students and their families in Kelleh were happy and thankful to have safe water again.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
