Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Queue Town is located in France's clan, the district of Todee in Montserrado County, not far from the palm plantation in Todee. This town was established by the late John Quoi in 1916.

This community has no basic services, no schools, clinics and no churches. There is approximately 520 people living here and make there living by farming, charcoal burning and rubber. The problems in this area have been a great challenge, the only source of water supply has been from a stream that always dries up during the dry season.

Many suffer from typhoid, running stomach and skin rashes. The women and children would get up very early in the morning to fetch water for their families. Children have been found dead, missing and many of them raped. Due to the long distance travel to school, parents out of fear do not send their children.

On October 23, 2019 Lifewater Liberia conducted a Health & Hygiene Workshop for this community with 22 participants. The people learned the importance of a clean environment and how important it is to wash their hands regularly. This new well will provide safe clean water for children and their families for many years to come.

This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
