A message from the community

Dear Mr. Gray, Compliment and esteem. The pastor, officials, and members of the Burning Bush Tabernacle Church, extend a hand of thanks and appreciation to you and the management of Life Water Liberia Inc. for erecting a hand Pump on the Church premises. Words are inadequate to say how much we are very happy with this project. May God Bless you and the company. The church in collaboration with the community of Chicken Soup Factory, want to thank you for the workshop conducted by Life Water. The workshop has enlightened our minds in many ways as to what to do as a community to enhance your good work in providing safe drinking water for Liberia. Kind regards, George Kolubah (Dea.) Church Secretary

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Special thanks to the Good Shepherd Church, RBG Projects Inc., celebrants at Archie's 60th Birthday and the many other supporters that helped make this project possible! ------------------------------------------------------------------- Burning Bush Tabernacle is located in the Chicken Soup factory community along the Somali Drive about 20’ drive from central Monrovia. This Ministry started in 1995 with few worshippers gathering ever Sunday at the house of the founder, Mother Martha Karteh, this was the situation until 1998 seeing the increase in the number of worshippers and their commitment to serving ,God that the church embark on the construction of an edifice for worship. The present edifice was completed in 2003 and now host the sixty five (65) members of this assembly. The church is in a community that the very populated. There are few hand dug wells in the community, many of which are shallow due to the hard ground formation of the area. The issue of save drinking water has been a major challenge for the church and its neighbors. The provision of this hand pump by Lifewater and her partners has brought life to members of the church and the well over 2000 inhabitants of the community where we worship God. It is our prayer that God will reward you for this great job and blessing to the Church.
