Thinker Village Oldfield is a community that along the Robert International Airport highway. This community is an open field covered with fine grain of white sand. The condition of the landscape makes it difficult for having hand dug wells. There are two hand dug wells in this community with such a huge population. One of these wells runs totally dry during the season because of its shallowness. Most of the people in this area depend on petite trade for their source of livelihood. There is so much diversity in the structure in this area ranging from mat houses, dirt bricks and concrete buildings. Amidst this social diversity they all share one common problem, the issue of safe drinking water. Thanks to Lifewater Liberia for changing the story of people in Thinker Village Oldfield. This is drive that keeps us moving as a team, the joy that every new well brings to the villagers…. Thanks for the efforts of all who continue to make our work possible.
