A message from the community

The community of Zoo Gowee would wish to say a big thank you to the hand pump repair team, Lifewater Canada and Service to Servants for coming through for us and taking care of our broken hand pumps. We are blessed to have access to clean water. May God bless you all. ---Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Peter Sutomie, a community leader of Zoo Gowee community, says their village was not ready for the struggle they experienced when their two hand pumps stopped supplying the village with clean water, adding that no one can sufficiently prepare for lack of clean water. The failure of the two hand pumps caught the community off-guard, forcing them to turn to dirty sources of water. But not for long because Lifewater Canada repaired the broken hand pumps so everyone in Zoo Gowee community is able to collect clean water from the village wells.
