A message from the community

On behalf of our community, we wish to say a big thank you to Lifewater Canada and Stada Kenya for fixing our broken hand pump. We are so grateful to have access to clean water.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Young children from Wangaya village in Kisumu county would drink from unsafe sources of water within the village because they were unable to access clean drinking water. This was during the time when the hand pump on the village well stopped working, denying everyone access to clean water.

Luckily for the community, Lifewater Canada funded the repair of the broken hand pump, thus giving everyone, and every child, a chance to access clean drinking water from the village well.
