A message from the community

On behalf of our Kocholla community, we wish to express our gratitude to Lifewater Canada and Stada Kenya for fixing our broken hand pump. Thanks lots for giving us another chance to collect clean water. ---Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Residents of Kocholla village in Kisumu County had to walk four kilometres back and forth to the nearest river after the hand pump on their community’s well stopped functioning for two weeks. It was not only that the trips were tiring, the water they brought home put their families at the risk of catching diseases. But thanks to our donors, Lifewater has repaired the broken hand pump, and safe water is flowing again in Kocholla village.
