A message from the community

For our students, we wish to give thanks for the repair of our broken hand pump in Browns Town Public School. Our students, after suffering for months, are happy to collect clean water from the village school. ---Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Students at Browns Town Public School in Liberia's Margibi county would often drink and wash from a shallow well located kilometers away from the school. The students were forced to leave school in search of water because the hand pump on the school well had stopped working three months ago. However, Lifewater Canada funded the repair of the broken hand pump, this giving students another chance to access clean water from the school well.
