A message from the community
The community of Duazon Beach Side is happy to drink clean water from the village well again after the repairs. We thank you Lifewater Canada for fixing our broken hand pump. ---Community Leaders
Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)
Men, women and children from Duazon Beach Side village were not happy drinking from a nearby shallow well, but that was all the option they had for a source of water. This was during the time when the hand pump on their village well stopped working, cutting off the supply of clean water. However, our donors enabled us to repair the broken hand pump and therefore give everyone in Duazon Beach Side village access to clean water.
