My name is Alhaji Musa Tanko. Water scarcity has been the most daunting challenge our community has ever faced. Our wives, burdened with the task of fetching water, had to make the long journey to the river every day. This scarcity not only affected our personal hygiene but also that of our children. The struggle was particularly hard for our children, who had to embark on the quest for water before even thinking about going to school. We were constantly battling waterborne diseases in our community, a grim reality we had grown accustomed to. Today, we are so happy because Lifewater has rehabilitated our borehole. Our wives and children no longer have to wake up at odd hours to search for dirty and stagnant water from the river. Our children will now look neat. Thank you so much, Lifewater. We sincerely appreciate your kind assistance and efforts for our community. We are so grateful to have access to clean water now.
