A message from the community

We wish to say a big thank you to Lifewater Canada and Stada Kenya for the repair of our school's hand pump. You have given our students another chance to drink clean water from the school well. May God bless you all. ---Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

About three hundred students at Disi Primary School in Kisumu county had no access to clean drinking water after the hand pump on the well in the school stopped working. Since the school could not afford to buy drinking water for all students, every student was forced to go without drinking water for over eight hours they were in school. This went on for more than two months, until Lifewater Canada funded the repair of the school's broken hand pump. Thanks to our donors, clean and safe drinking water is now flowing in Disi Primary School.
