The two hand pumps on the wells serving Dark Forest community in Libera's Montserrado county were all broken, denying the residents a chance to access clean and safe water. The residents were forced to drink from unsafe sources such as creeks and hand dug wells. But Lifewater Canada gave community members another chance to access clean and safe water from by repairing the two broken hand pumps, including this one.
