A message from the community

Our school hand pump was broken for six months. Those six months were very difficult because we had to buy drinking water for students. But now, we have enough water from our well. Thanks for fixing our broken hand pump. ---School Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

For six months, Anna F. Whisnant Elementary School would buy drinking water for its two hundred students. This is because the water in the school well was inaccessible as its hand pump was broken. The drinking water bought was barely enough for everyone. But this is not the situation anymore because, Lifewater fixed the broken hand pump. Thanks to our donors, students at Anna F. Whisnant Elementary School have access to clean and safe drinking water.
