A message from the community

On behalf of my fellow students from Unification Town YMCA Community High School, we wish to give thanks for the repair of our school hand pumps. Thanks so much for enabling us to have access to clean and safe water. ---Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Children began missing classes after the hand pumps on the two wells serving Unification Town YMCA Community High School stopped working and the students had to go out in search of water. The only available source was a dirty open well three kilometres away. The walk to and from this source was time-consuming and tiring. But recently, Lifewater and Service to Servants visited Unification Town YMCA Community High School and, thanks to our donors, repaired the broken pumps, including this one. The grateful community has safe water again.
