People living in Willie town in Liberia's Montserrado County struggled with access to clean and safe water for years. Rainy seasons would bring them clean water but that did not last, as soon they exhausted the harvested rainwater, they went back to unsafe sources such as hand dug wells. But Lifewater Canada solved the clean water problem for this community by partnering with Lifewater Liberia to drill a new well. The community is happy to access clean and safe water from the well through the well's new hand pump.
