A message from the community
On behalf of my community, I wish to say thank you to Lifewater and Service to Servants for the Health and Hygiene training session conducted in our community. We are now better people than we were before the workshop. We are grateful for that. ---Community Leaders
Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)
The community of Doumah Town Q3 has safe water, thanks to the repair of the hand pump on the local well through the generosity of Lifewater Canada donors in partnership with Service to Servants, a non-government organization in Liberia. However, residents still knew very little about Health and Hygiene. But through the further support of our donors, Service to Servants visited the community to teach children and adults the importance of health, hygiene, and sanitation. The lessons focused on personal hygiene and on protecting the environment, including water sources.
