The people of Don Bosco village in Careysburg would get water from a nearby hand dug open well. The residents often suffered from waterborne diseases because the well's water was contaminated. But Lifewater Canada, in partnership with Lifewater Liberia, constructed a new well in the community, and installed a new hand pump. The people of Don Bosco village are happy to have access to clean and safe water from the village well.
