Thanks to the support of our donors, children and adults in Wealveen no longer need to risk becoming sick with diarrhea or other waterborne illnesses after drinking from the nearest river. These contaminated sources were the community’s only options for water. But Lifewater visited Wealveen town recently and constructed a new well, including installing a new hand pump. The grateful community has safe, accessible water.
