When the hand pump stopped working on the only community well in Fendell community six years ago, children and adults had to begin drinking water from unsafe sources. They had no other option, despite knowing these sources put them at risk of diarrheal diseases. But through the generous support of our donors, Lifewater, in partnership with Lifewater Liberia, has rehabilitated the well in Fendell community, including installing a new hand pump. Now there is safe water for everyone.
