Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)
Water from a dirty river was the only option for the children and adults living in Kolum Kawino after the hand pump on their only well broke down twelve months ago. Everyone knew the river water might make them sick with diarrhea and other illnesses, but they had no choice. Then our donors enabled Lifewater and Stada Kenya to visit Kolum Kawino, repair the broken hand pump and restore the grateful community’s source of safe water.
