A message from the community
This is a note to everyone who has contributed to our community getting a constant flow of clean water from our village well, we want to say that we are very thankful for the hand pump repair. May God bless you all. ---Community Leaders
Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)
Kawino Kakwema community had no safe source of water for a long time after the hand pump on the local well stopped functioning. Children and adults were forced to rely on unsafe water sources which put them at risk of diarrheal diseases. But thanks to our donors, Lifewater and Stada Kenya repaired the broken hand pump. Everyone in the community is happy to have safe water again.
