A message from the community

On behalf of people of Kateni, we thank you for servicing our hand pump and maintaining our well so that we always have easy access to clean water. God bless you all. ---Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Kateni residents were forced to gather water from rivers and streams -- contaminated sources that put every child and adult at risk of diarrheal diseases -- after the hand pump on their community well stopped working. But due to the generosity of Lifewater donors, we have repaired the broken pump so Kateni's rehabilitated well is meeting everyone's safe water needs again.
