Disi Primary School

On behalf of the school fraternity of Disi Primary and Junior Schools, I take this opportunity to express our gratitude to your organization for honoring our request and rehabilitating our spoilt water pump. We were seriously in need but now you have quenched our thirst. Thank you so so much. ---School Leaders

Children began missing classes and women began missing income-earning time after the hand pump on Disi Primary and Junior School's well stopped working and they had to go out in search of water. The only available source was a dirty river about three kilometres away. The walk to and from this source was time-consuming and tiring. And sadly, the water brought home to families was dirty so it caused children and adults to become sick with diarrhea or other illnesses. But recently, Lifewater and Stada Kenya visited Disi Primary and Junior School and, thanks to our donors, rehabilitated the broken-down well, including installing a new hand pump. The grateful community has safe water again.
