A message from the community

Pipeline Community wishes to express our gratitude to the Lifewater Canada team for the repair of our hand pump. We feel so blessed that we can access clean water. Thank you lots. -- Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Children and adults living in Pipeline Community had no access to safe water for about a week after the hand pump on their local well stopped functioning. Many people resorted to getting water from shallow hand-dug wells that are open to the elements and therefore often contaminated -- putting people at risk of contracting diarrheal diseases. Lifewater, thanks to our donors' generosity, repaired the pump and restored the grateful community's safe water source.
