We are writing to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to Lifewater Nigeria on behalf of Kwaku III community for their outstanding services in repairing our spoiled borehole. We are truly grateful, and we bless Lifewater organization. Thanks. Yours faithfully, Musa Mohammed 08130158480
Kwaku III, located in Kuje Area Council, FCT Abuja, is a lively settlement where most residents rely on farming, brickmaking, and selling firewood. For a long time, the community’s only reliable water source was an aging borehole that eventually broke down. Without it, residents resorted to collecting water a faraway stream. The journey took hours, and the water was often dirty and unsafe. During dry season, fights broke out at the stream as people competed to fill their containers before the water ran out. Some residents even resorted to buying water from truck vendors at a high cost many could not afford. This situation led to increased cases of waterborne diseases and put extra strain on women and children. Everything changed when Lifewater repaired the community’s borehole. The damaged pump was fixed, and safe water freely flows again in Kwaku III. Now children fetch and drink safe water, farmers have more time for their crops, and the entire community enjoys better health. The people never imagined it could be this easy to have access to safe water again, the water has brought unity and peace back to home and they truly express heartfelt appreciation to Lifewater for uplifting a heavy burden from their shoulders.
