I am writing on behalf of Sullu III community and the entire residence to send our appreciation to Lifewater Nigeria for coming to our aid to repair our spoiled borehole. The said borehole has been out of use for about two months now which you came to our aid to repair. May God multiply your organization and increase his blessings over you and the entire staff. Thanks. Your faithfully, Haggai Kaura Chairman 08056933418
Sullu III is a small thriving rural settlement in Gurara Local Government Area, Niger State. The people are mostly smallholder farmers, but one problem had made daily life hard: the struggle to get safe water. The community's borehole broke down after years of use, and what followed was a season of hardship. Residents turned to an old stream often shared with livestock. Women woke as early as 4 a.m. to begin the long trek for water, and young children joined them, missing early school lessons. Many families suffered from diarrhea and other waterborne diseases During our visit, we repaired the broken borehole. The return of safe water brought joy and great relief to the people of Sullu III. The people of Sullu III are grateful to Lifewater for remembering their community. Lifewater's effort has replaced hardship with comfort and restored hope and happiness to their lives.
