On behalf of Sullu I, the Catholic community, and the entire environment, I write to express my appreciation for your kind gesture, the turnaround maintenance of our borehole, which has been out of use for some months now. We hope and pray that God will reward your gesture with abundant blessings and support as you continue to give humanity drinking water. Thanks. Yours faithfully, Cartiest Lawrence Adacge For the P.P
Sullu I, located near the Anguwan Catholic Church in Gurara Local Government Area, Niger State, is a peaceful community where most residents make their living through cultivation and market trading. For several months, the sole borehole serving Sullu I had broken down, forcing residents to depend on water from open wells and dirty ponds around the farmlands. These sources were often dirty and unreliable. Women and children bore the heaviest burden, waking up before dawn to walk long distances for water, spending hours every day on this exhausting task. This situation led to frequent outbreaks of waterborne illnesses. When the Lifewater repair team arrived in Sullu I hope returned. The team repaired the broken borehole. Today, the people of Sullu I have regained peace of mind. Safe water is now available right within their community, reducing sicknesses and freeing up valuable time for productive work and education.
