On behalf of the people of Kwakuti Sarki community, we thank and appreciate the efforts of Lifewater Nigeria for repairing of our damaged borehole in our community. We thank the effort of Lifewater for your generosity. Yours faithfully, Mal. Musa Moh’d
Kwakuti Sarki is a peaceful farming community in Paikoro Local Government Area, Niger State, where residents depend on agriculture, livestock and local trade to support their families. The community has always faced challenges accessing safe water, especially during dry season when the only borehole serving the village broke down. Without this source, residents had no choice but to rely on distant streams and shallow wells that were often unsafe and prone to contamination. Children began trekking long distances to search for water. The water they fetched was always dirty and shared with animals. It wasn't long before cases of typhoid and diarrhea became common, and farming hours were lost as people spent most mornings looking for water. The stress of water scarcity weighed heavily on daily life, threatening the community's wellbeing and productivity. After Lifewater's arrival brought a long-awaited sigh of relief and the team inspected and repaired the faulty borehole, a reliable flow of safe water was restored. Today, Kwakuti Sarki is alive again. The people of Kwakuti Sarki express heartfelt gratitude to Lifewater for remembering them and answering their prayers by restoring safe water to the community.
