We, the members of Kpna-Kpna Toshi community, sincerely appreciate your effort towards the repair of our borehole. Your kind effort in making sure we have water in our community cannot be taken for granted. May God Almighty continue to bless and reward your organization. Yours faithfully, Bala Philip 08078665053
Kpna-Kpna Toshi is a small farming settlement located off the main Kuje-Gwagwalada road, with approximately 1,300 residents who primarily engage in farming and local trading. For many months, life in the community was filled with hardship because their only source of safe water, the village borehole, broke down. Without the borehole, women and children fetched water from a distant pond shared with animals. The water was dirty and unsafe, leading to frequent cases of diarrhea, typhoid, and other illnesses. After Lifewater responded swiftly to the community's call for help and the repair team assessed and carried out timely repairs ensuring a sustainable and safe water supply, the entire village gathered in excitement as water began to flow again. Safe water close to the community reduced health risks and saved time previously spent on long water journeys. Today, Kpna-Kpna Toshi is full of life. Families now drink safe water, women have more time to focus on farming and small businesses, and the fear of sickness from dirty water is gone. The people of Kpna-Kpna Toshi express their heartfelt gratitude to Lifewater for their prompt and impactful support, acknowledging the profound difference safe water has made in their lives.
