On behalf of Gadoro community, we sincerely appreciate your effort towards the repair of our borehole in our community. We will not be able to thank you enough, but Almighty God will reward and bless you and your family and the people who are working around you. Thanks. Yours faithfully, Joshua Sheshi 09167309919
Gadoro is a growing community in Kuje Area Council, FCT Abuja, home to about 1,400 residents who mostly engage in farming and small-scale trading. For a long time, the community faced a serious challenge with safe water access. The only borehole serving the community broke down several months ago, leaving families stranded. Families began to rely on nearby streams and open ponds that were often contaminated and dried up quickly. This unreliable water source led to frequent cases of waterborne diseases, especially among children, and made daily chores exhausting, particularly for women and girls who spent hours fetching water. When Lifewater's repair team arrived, joy filled the air. Within a short period, we repaired the pump and guaranteed a steady and safe water supply. The repair brought immediate relief as families now access safe water steps away from their homes, reducing illness and freeing up time for education, farming, and small businesses. The people of Gadoro are deeply grateful to Lifewater for their timely and life-changing intervention that has brought happiness and peace to every household.
