The entire community of Sabon Wuse VI writes to express our appreciation to Lifewater Nigeria for their concern in coming to our community to repair our borehole. Your kindness and generosity cannot be measured. Yours faithfully, Khadijah Abdulkareem 08084726504
Sabon Wuse VI in Tafa Local Government Area, Niger State, is a growing settlement where many residents are commuters, small business owners and farmers. The community depended on one hand pump borehole for their water needs. When that borehole broke down, the impact hit hard. Mothers and daughters walked long distances to fetch dirty water shared with animals, children came home from school sick, and many households began to ration water because it was too scarce. Vendors charged high prices, straining family budgets. After Lifewater heard of the crisis and the repair team fixed the borehole on arrival, safe water flows again every day in Sabon Wuse VI. Illnesses from bad water have dropped, children attend school more regularly, mothers have time for farming and trading, and the whole neighborhood feels relieved that water is no longer a daily burden. The people of Sabon Wuse VI deeply appreciate Lifewater for restoring access to safe water once again.
