With great honour and respect, I hereby wish to write on behalf of the Sabon Wuse IV community to express our sincere gratitude to Lifewater Nigeria. We equally extend our greeting to the government of Canada for bringing assistance into our communities. May God continue to bless everyone in Jesus name. Yours faithfully, Mr. Bulus Duba 09063638444
Sabon Wuse IV in Tafa Local Government Area, Niger State, is a growing community of farmers, small traders, and families who've moved in seeking cheaper land around Abuja. The borehole that once served many households well eventually broke when hand pump parts wore out. For more than a year, residents relied on unsafe sources: shallow, open, dirty wells that smelled after rain, or bought water from vendors. Mothers and girls walked before sunrise to fetch water, children came home late or missed school altogether, and illnesses from bad water like fevers and diarrhea became common. After Lifewater intervened and completed the repair cleanly and quickly, the change was drastic. Safe water now flows every morning from the pump in Sabon Wuse IV. Children became healthier and stronger, mothers have hours freed up for farming or trading rather than painful water trips, and smiles have replaced worry. The whole community offers heartfelt thanks to Lifewater for bringing them the gift of peace and relief through the restoration of safe water.
