On behalf of Musha community, I wish to write and express our gratitude to Lifewater Nigeria for coming to our aid. Before now, the source of our water was through wells and streams, which sometimes is contaminated. However, thank you so much for rehabilitating our borehole for us, which has given us a sense of belonging and of course, and given us life because water is life. We are indeed grateful for your kind gesture. Yours faithfully, Yohanna Jonathan Awodu
Musha is a farming community in Obi Local Government Area, Nasarawa State, where farming and trading are major economic activities. Despite its agricultural strength, access to safe water has remained a daily struggle. For years, the community depended on a single borehole that eventually broke down and could no longer pump water. People trekked far for water or used unclean sources, fetching from distant streams or stagnant ponds, which caused sickness. After Lifewater rehabilitated the broken borehole, safe water began to flow again. Now the community has water close by. Children drink safe water, and mothers spend less time fetching water. Life has been made easier and health is improving every day in Musha. The community is grateful for this life-changing support.
