The well serving the people of: Sand Beach village was broken for two years, cutting off the supply of clean and safe drinking water. Long before the well's breakdown, the residents had been worried that they will have no well soon as it had deteriorated to a point repairs were not doing much to improve its situation. But Lifewater Canada ensured that the community did not lose the well altogether; by funding the rehabilitation of the well, including replacing the old hand pump with the new one. The people of Sand Beach village are gratefully enjoying clean and safe drinking water from their rehabilitated well.
