A broken down borehole in Cow Field community did more than plunge residents in serious shortage of clean water; it left them struggling to fight the spread of water related diseases. This is because since they could not access clean water anymore, they resorted to drinking from unsafe sources of water. Thankfully, Lifewater Canada put a stop to it by funding the rehabilitation of the broken down well, and even replacing its old hand pump. Everyone in Cow Field community s happy to drink and wash from the community well.
