When the hand pump on the well in Chicken Farm community failed, it did not just deny residents access to clean and safe water, it also exposed them to diseases as the residents were denied clean drinking water and were forced to drink from unsafe sources of water. So, Lifewater Canada funded the rehabilitation of the well in Chicken Farm community, and even replaced its broken hand pump. The community's rehabilitated well is now meeting everyone's clean water needs.
