Residents of Upper Kawino village struggled to acquire clean and safe water after their hand pump on the village well failed. The only available water source was a river, a contaminated source that exposed residents to diseases. However, people living in Upper Kawino are thankfully enjoying drinking clean water after the hand pump repair team stopped by the village and repaired the broken hand pump. Thanks to Lifewater Canada donors, clean and safe water is now flowing in Upper Kawino village.
