Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

While the students of Ombaka Primary School in Kisumu county have two sources of water within the school, only one source of water, the school well, was a reliable source. The students were able to access clean drinking water from the well without fail, until the hand pump stopped. The students would then drink from a tap in the school, but the tap was mostly dry so the students had no access to clean water. Thankfully, Lifewater Canada and Stada Kenya partnered to fix the broken hand pump, giving the students of Ombaka Primary School uninterrupted flow of clean drinking water.
