We, the community of Kanzanzu Comprehensive School, we are grateful for the good work you have done in our school. You have given us enough clean water for our students. May God bless you abundantly as you continue to serve other communities. Yours Faithfully, Angela Wambui
Students at Kanzanzu Primary School in Mwingi region are happy lot because Lifewater Canada recently drilled a new well in the school and installed a hand pump. It was an exciting time for the school community because this was the first time they had a clean source of water, and a nearby source of water for that matter. Seeing that the school is in a very dry community, it was very normal for the students not to have a source of water, but it was also a harsh reality that they lived in for years. The students struggled to access clean drinking water, their to go to sources were shallow wells hand dug on dry beds, also unsafe sources of water that frequently left them nursing diarrhea and stomach aches. But since they received the gift of new wells, students are enjoying easy access to clean water, and thankfully, a nearby source of water, right within their school compound.
