Dobi is a rural community in Gwagwalada Area Council, FCT Abuja. Most families here depend on farming and petty trading for their livelihood.  Basic infrastructure has long been a struggle, and access to sanitation facilities remains limited. Despite being one of the central places where people gather for worship, fellowship, weddings, and community programs, the church had no standard toilet facilities. Members; especially women, children, and visitors often resorted to nearby bushes or rushed home in the middle of services, which was unsafe and posed health risks. When Lifewater stepped in and constructed clean and modern toilets for the church, everything changed. Today, Grace Methodist Church stands not only as a place of prayer but also as a safe and dignified space for the entire community.
