The above mentioned school writes to appreciate the Management of Lifewater Nigeria for sending a team to our school that delivered an educative talk on Mernstrual Health to our female students. At the end of the talk, they distributed Dignity Kits to all the female students in attendance. The management of the school and the entire school community is highly appreciative of the gesture to Lifewater Nigeria. We look forward for more partnership. Thank you Principal
Kodoko is a community in the Bosso Local Government of Niger State. For a long time, the village had depended on one community borehole for their water needs. When it broke down, everything changed. The people were forced to fetch water from a dirty stream that animals also used. The water was brown, smelled bad, and made many fall sick. Women began rising at dawn, risking snake bites to get water over three kilometers away, only to return with heavy buckets of dirty water. The stream wasn't just dirty; it was dangerous. Cattle used it, snakes lived in it, and illnesses began to spread. Families watched helplessly as their children grew weak from waterborne diseases. When word of Kodoko's struggle reached Lifewater, we mobilized our rehab team to the village. The team fixed the broken borehole, replaced damaged parts, and made it work again. For the first time in years, Kodoko had safe drinking water again. Sickness has decreased, and peace has returned to homes. The people are full of thanks and offer prayers of gratitude
