Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)
Clean and safe water was so far away from the village women of Kodeyo, who are often tasked with the role of collecting water for their families. The women would walk for several kilometers to collect water after the hand pump on their well stopped working. But Lifewater ensured clean water was close by and easily accessible by thoughtfully funding the repair of the community's broken hand pump.
