Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)
The failure of the communal hand pump occasioned a serious water shortage in Kobura Rabuor community in Kenya's Kisumu county. The residents had no means to access clean water now that their community's only well was dormant. Thankfully, not anymore, because our donors enabled us to fix the broken hand pump, so clean and safe drinking water is easily accessible to all.
