The hand pump on the well in Kabonyo community was not working for weeks, so the residents were unable to access clean water from the village well. Seeing that there was no other nearby clean source of water, the residents' only option was to collect water from a dirty shallow well. But thanks to our donors, Lifewater recently repaired the broken hand pump. Everyone in the community is happy to have safe water again
