A message from the community

We as Bwanda Primary School community, we are grateful to you for making a great effort to curb the spread of diseases amongst our students by repairing our broken hand pump. May God bless you so much. Yours Faithfully, Odero Mercelyne.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Students from Bwanda Primary School in Kisumu County would drink from a nearby shallow well and often fall sick. But the shallow well's water was important because the students had no other source of drinking water, much less a clean one. This was after the hand pump on their school well broke down. Thankfully, not anymore, because Lifewater Canada has repaired the broken hand pump. Thanks to the support of our generous donors, children in Bwanda Primary School have safe water again.
