A message from the community
Balan Localite Cebien Wednesday 18 June 2025 Dear donor, Today we write you this letter to express our deepest gratitude for contributing towards building a new well in our community. You have made a significant impact on our life. Prior to this, we were struggling to find access to potable water and often walk long distances or pay an exuberant amount of money to obtain water. Diseases like cholera and dysentery were prominent in our area hindering our kids’ education and our overall well-being. Now we have a constant supply of clean water, we are able to live a healthier lifestyle . Our kids attend school regularly. Thanks for your generosity. Around 300 people will use this well for water, the closest clean water source is a one hour round trip, and must be done 2 times per day. Some also supplement by buying bagged water for a cost of 100 Goudes per day.
